About ACAF

Pets are a vital part of our family, yet every year, more than 1,000,000 pets go without veterinary care because their owners can't afford to pay for medical treatment... tragically, animals are often euthanized or suffer needlessly.

Formed in 2008, Animal Care and Assistance Fund (ACAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to promoting the health interests and welfare of animals, and is the benevolent extension of the Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (PVSEC).
